Containers
Our laboratory supplies safety containers for infectious waste, including sharps and highly contaminated materials. The exclusive use of these containers is essential for staff safety.
Collection
As soon as a container is full, close it carefully without overloading it. Give your contact details, place it in a plastic bag and ask for it to be collected in the same way as for an analysis.
Transport and disposal
If necessary, we will ensure that you have been allocated a remittance number (SAEFL, Berne).
We cover the cost of waste disposal. The entire organisation is designed to keep operating costs to a minimum. Our carrier collects the waste in a second, double-thick plastic bag, in accordance with government guidelines.
This waste is then taken as is, i.e. not compacted, along with our own waste, directly to the incineration plant's furnace.
